This is an excellent opportunity to join Park Lane’s trainee scheme; Our targeted introductory programme offers the perfect opportunity to gain professional experience and to build a long-term career with the UK's largest BMW Retailer located in the prestigious Mayfair, W1 postcode in central London.

The 36 month programme will include a comprehensive overview of the business working across all car brands that the company represents including BMW, MINI, and BMW i.

This job involves handling communication with customers and managing all associated administration, working closely with our admin teams and booking/completing customer handovers as part of our newly formed, dedicated Handover+ team along with facilitation of customer test drives and product presentations.

If you have an aspiration to be in Sales – this is the clear path to learn and have the support of the Retail Sales channel in order to progress to the role of BMW Group Certified Sales Executive.

 

‘Product Genius/Handover Specialist’ Duties

Inclusive of (but not limited to);

  • Meet and greet customers

  • Provide a comprehensive overview to the client of their new or approved used vehicle

  • Appraise and book in customers part exchange vehicles

  • Manage and interpret customer concerns and escalate where required

  • Management of your own handover diary

  • Providing relevant information and supporting customer requests and concerns

  • Maintain a current and relevant knowledge of model line-up and associated technologies

  • Active engagement and promotion of our social media channels

  • Sales team support with vehicle presentation / test drives

  • Build positive relationships with sales and aftersales colleagues across the business

 

Working Hours:

5 out of 7 days per week on a rota (work every Saturday with one day off mid-week)

Weekday hours are 08.30 to 18:00

Saturday hours are 09:00 to 17:00 

 

Person Specification

You must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate superb customer service to both customers and colleagues, alike.

 Maximises business opportunities by referring to the most appropriate colleague, or department.

  • Strives to improve quality in their work, raising ideas for improved services, products or efficiencies.

  • Collects & maintains information.

  • Basic IT Skills.

  • Use of customer database system preferred.

  • Self- motivated and with a positive outlook.

  • Previous retail experience preferred.

  • Must have full, clean UK drivers licence (Minimum 12 months driving experience).
